October 2014 Link-Up – The Bloomingfoods Organizing Campaign and the Importance of Neutrality Agreements

UFCW Organizing Director, Scott Barnett, will be our guest to discuss their current organizing campaign at Bloomingfoods as well as the importance of neutrality from the co-op board and management. We are also going to ask Scott to address what would need to happen to try and organize the future health food competitors moving into Bloomington over the next year, and discuss whether the unanimously-passed resolution though our city council in support of the right to organize might be used as leverage in this process.

Please join us at the Colorado Steakhouse, 1635 N. College Ave., Bloomington Indiana, on Thursday, 2 October 2014, at 6pm.
