Democracy for Monroe County would like to invite all local voters to meet this year’s democratic primary election candidates. We have two evenings scheduled for debates, March 21 and the other on March 29th. In addition to the debates, two of the candidates running for the 9th Congressional district in Indiana, Bob Kern and Shelli Yoder, have agreed to each take five minutes to introduce themselves this evening.  Our first evening’s debates will feature Senate District 40 candidates, Senator Mark Stoops and challenger John K. Pappas, for the first hour. The second hour is the Circuit Judge Court 1 race, including candidates: R. Michael Flory, Darcie Fawcett, Holly Harvey, and Alphonso Manns.

Please note that the first event begins promptly at 6:45 pm, so that we can take full advantage of the time available to get to know the candidates.
