Democracy for Monroe County Democratic Candidates' Forums

As we have for the past four election cycles, Democracy for Monroe County is sponsoring forums featuring the candidates seeking the Democratic nomination for township, county, statewide office. We have already had the forum for the township trustee candidates (my apologies for not getting that posted here before it happened), and it was a great success. There was plenty of good information about the importance of that office, and why it should be retained. Fortunately, the forum was taped by CATS for future broadcast. Watch this space for news about when the broadcasts will be.

Here is the schedule for the upcoming forums.

• March 18 at 7:00 PM - Monroe County Public Library Auditorium - Candidates for Monroe County Council and Monroe County Commissioner
• March 22 at 7:00 PM - Monroe County Public Library Auditorium - Candidates for State Treasurer, State Auditor, and Indiana Secretary of State
• March 25 at 7:00 PM - The Commons on the Ivy Tech Campus - Candidates for Monroe County Prosecutor, Sheriff, Judge, Recorder, Assessor, and Clerk

All candidates except the judge candidates will be open to questions, so be sure to come with questions.
